Meet Daniela Zingovski, one of the inspiring women featured in the NAWO 100 Women in Operations campaign.
The campaign exists to showcase the breadth of operational roles available to women and to make real career pathways visible through lived experience.
With more than 18 years at Qantas, Daniela’s career is a powerful example of how operational leadership is built over time. She began her journey “crunching numbers” in accounts, moved into data and performance insights, and now leads an operational team as a Customer Service Manager at Qantas Freight.
Her career has evolved alongside significant organisational change, including restructuring, offshore collaboration, and the transition of catering operations to DNATA. Through each shift, Daniela leaned into learning, adaptability, and people leadership. One defining moment saw her training and mentoring a Customer Service team in India, strengthening her approach to communication, empathy, and problem-solving across diverse teams.
Today, Daniela leads with a strong belief that inclusive practices make operations stronger, safer, and more effective. She balances leadership and five years of shift work in Freight with life as the mother of two teenage boys.
Nominated for her:
- Active involvement as a NAWO Mentee and finalist in NAWOxTalks
- Commitment to learning and her growth as a leader of diverse operational teams.
👏 Congratulations Daniela, and welcome to the NAWO 100 Women Wall of Fame.
