About Our Events

There are many ways to engage with NAWO. As a member you have special access to programs, forums and resources that will support your goals.

National Webinars

Our webinars focus on topics to inspire action, whether for your career or your organisation’s approach to gender diversity. Conversations with inspiring people from the NAWO network offer insights into current issues. Content is aligned to our Key Learning Priorities and Nine Levers for Gender Balance. As a member, you can watch and participate in these webinars live or on demand.

Knowledge Share Forums

As an Industry Solutions initiative, we bring frontline leaders, and people and culture professionals together across our network to tackle the practical issues for achieving gender balance in their organisations, leaving with ideas to activate within their immediate environment. Member organisations are allocated two seats per Knowledge Share Forum.

Executive Forums

As an Industry Solutions initiative, we bring Executive Leaders from our member companies together to solve the strategic issues, challenges and barriers to achieving gender balance in operations. The group is tasked with identifying and committing to meaningful leadership actions to move the dial within their organisations.

Professional Development Programs

These programs are designed to help members tactically progress their careers and become more inclusive leaders and change agents. They are curated around our Learning Priorities and Nine Levers and delivered by endorsed providers with expertise in subjects relevant to progressing toward gender balance.

Check in & Chats

Members can join us each fortnight for a 30-minute interactive Zoom conversation, inspiring connection within our community. Topics for Check In & Chats alternate between ‘Let’s Chat About’, on topics that relate to our Key Learning Priorities and Nine Levers and ‘What a Job’, where we speak with a member about their job in operations.

Local in-person events

Our teams design and facilitate in-person events that give members the opportunity to forge meaningful connections across industries and disciplines in operations. Activities include site tours, social gatherings, organised walk-and-talks or more formal events.

Company Site Tours

If you are in operations you love a site tour. Our NAWO volunteers work with member companies to organise site tours, often accompanied with a chance to connect over refreshments. It’s just another way NAWO helps build meaningful connections.

NAWO gives back

Our volunteer guest speakers share their insights and experience at NAWO events, inspiring and supporting women in operations to take ownership of their career. In lieu of speaker gifts, we donate to causes that actively support women in various ways.
