We’re proud to recognise Elise King – one of NAWO’s 100 Women in Operations!
NAWO’s 100 Women in Operations campaign celebrates the contribution of women shaping successful, inclusive and resilient operational teams across traditionally male-oriented sectors.
Elise’s journey with the Arnott’s Group started over 17 years ago, joining the team as a food technologist working on new product development and cost optimisation projects.She’s held a variety of roles across the organisation exposing her to all things quality, from day-to-day problem solving, project management, thermal process validation, food safety and quality system management.
Now back in R&D, Elise is Associate Director of Research and Development for the Meals & Beverages business unit, where she leads a team of 11 delivering innovation, productivity and sustainability projects across Campbell’s and V8 branded products.

- Being an empathetic leader with strong collaborative leadership skills which enable her to bring out the best in her team.
- Her technical curiosity which enabled her to become a technical expert in thermal processing and a ‘go-to’ person for the site when trouble shooting issues in production.
- Her skills around advising her team when developing new products to ensure that they are food safe for our consumers.
