Presenting another wonderful woman leading the way in operations – Fiona Holland
The #NAWO 100 Women in Operations campaign shines a light on the many pathways available in operations and celebrates the women doing the work every day.
Fiona is the CEO of Tri-Tech Chemicals, where she leads the business to deliver effective chemistry and supply chain solutions in an environmentally sustainable way. Fiona began her career with ICI and, after five years as Operations Manager at Tri-Tech, was appointed CEO in 2023. A qualified Chemical Engineer, Fiona brings more than 35 years of experience across senior and frontline management, supply chain, and project management roles within ICI, Orica, and Qenos across Australia.
Throughout her career, Fiona often navigated complex operational environments without the benefit of female managers or role models. Balancing career progression, caring responsibilities, and standing out for the right reasons shaped her early experiences and reinforced the importance of mentoring. Fiona strongly believes that both giving and receiving mentoring is critical to growth, and she is passionate about supporting others to achieve their full potential.
As a results-focused operations leader, Fiona has a strong track record of driving cultural and productivity improvements at both domestic and international levels. In her leadership roles, she has empowered teams to identify opportunities for improvement and growth, while maintaining strong customer service and employee engagement. Alongside her professional role, she also operates a 100-head beef cattle property in rural Victoria 🚜
Nominated for:
- Successfully leading diverse teams to deliver environmentally sustainable chemistry solutions across mining, agriculture, and construction
- Actively supporting women to progress their careers, championing STEM and chemistry pathways, and being a committed NAWO mentor
Congratulations Fiona, and welcome to the NAWO 100 Women Wall of Fame!
