💙 Today we’d love you to meet another 100 Women in Operations superstar – Isabella Warrington.

The #NAWO 100 Women in Operations campaign is about educating people on the many roles women can do in operations – and showcasing the women doing them every day.

Isabella’s story shows how passion and purpose can lead to a career in operations. Her life-long love of nature led her to her current role as a Senior Environmental Specialist, where she works to make sure industry and environmental protection go hand in hand.

Isabella has worked across major infrastructure, construction, mining, and high-risk manufacturing environments – she specialises in environmental management for high-risk industries, including gold mining and processing, ammonium nitrate and sodium cyanide manufacturing, contaminated groundwater, and complex construction projects.

Currently part of a multi-billion-dollar Ring Road project in Rockhampton with Acciona and Fulton Hogan, Isabella is helping deliver environmental and sustainability outcomes on one of Central Queensland’s largest infrastructure projects.

She loves knowing her work is making a real and measurable difference to the environment – and so do we!

Personal challenges have shaped Isabella’s belief that confidence and independence are powerful tools for women, at work and in life. Working in operations has pushed her to speak up and put herself forward, and she is passionate about sharing that lesson with other women

Deeply committed to creating safe and healthy workplaces, she actively mentors’ young women through industry programs – supporting confidence, capability, and creating a stronger, more diverse workforce.

Nominated for:

  • Her commitment and involvement with the NAWO Committee, and her achievement as a NAWOxTalks finalist
  • Organising events and site tours in Gladstone that connect women in operations across regional QLD

Congratulations Isabella, and thank you for being such a strong advocate for women in operations and for showing what’s possible 💙
