The NAWO 100 Women in Operations campaign exists to increase visibility of women building careers across the operational roles that keep Australia moving.

Today we welcome Katherine Marshall to the NAWO 100 Women in Operations Wall of Fame.

Katherine Marshall holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Sydney and brings over 24 years of experience in the engineering sector, primarily within the water and minerals industries. She has served in senior roles across both public and private sectors, including consulting, construction, and water utilities. Katherine’s expertise encompasses the delivery of major complex infrastructure projects that underpin essential services for communities.

💧 Currently, Katherine serves as Project Director at Sydney Water, where she leads the design and construction of the largest Densadeg pretreatment plant in Australia and the 4th largest in the world!!

Katherine has served as Vice President of the Australian Water Association, and a committee member for more than 18 years. She is passionate about building high-performing teams and advancing infrastructure to support essential water services.
