Congratulations to Kylie Jones – one of NAWO’s 100 Women in Operations!
The 100 Women in Operations campaign showcases the breadth of careers available to women in operational roles – and the women thriving in them. Across Australia, women are leading, innovating, mentoring, and shaping the future of traditionally male-oriented industries. This campaign is about visibility and possibility.
Kylie Jones is one of those women.
Kylie is a supply chain professional with over 20 years of experience in the consumer goods industry. As Senior Manager of Lidcombe Processing at Tassal, she leads daily operations at the seafood processing site, bringing a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and team leadership.
Originally trained as a Textile Scientist, Kylie has successfully transferred her expertise across diverse industries, proving that leadership and operational acumen are truly portable skills. Her ability to adapt and thrive in new environments is matched by her commitment to building better workplaces through mentoring and inclusion.
Kylie is an active champion for gender equity in operations. As Co-Chair of the NAWO NSW Committee, she plays a key role in designing and delivering inclusive events and resources across the state. She’s also a regular mentor through NAWO’s programs, stepping in whenever needed and helping others grow in their careers. Her dedication to progress has been recognised through her 2020 nomination for Mentor of the Year in the Women in Industry awards, and her selection as a Superstar of STEM.
Nominated for:
✅ Mentorship and advocacy for women in operations.
✅ Leadership of a high-impact volunteer committee.
✅ Ongoing support of NAWO’s mission within Tassal.
Congratulations, Kylie – your commitment to inclusion, adaptability, and growth in operations is inspiring! We’re proud to recognise you as one of NAWO’s 100 Women in Operations.
