With 20 years of experience, Lynn has built a dynamic career that bridges engineering roles in supply chain and manufacturing with her current focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She is currently the DEI Lead for Asia Pacific, Middle East, Türkiye & Africa at CHEP, a global pioneer in sustainable logistics solutions.
Lynn began her career in engineering, working in highly regulated, process-driven environments including FMCG, pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical manufacturing. Her roles over a 15-year period included process improvement, production engineering, and operational delivery across multiple manufacturing sites. Through this work, she developed a strong technical foundation and deep insight into the dynamics of operational teams and performance.
In 2023, Lynn made a strategic pivot into Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – recognising an opportunity to bring her operational experience into a role focused on people, inclusion and workplace culture. Today, she leads DEI strategy across CHEP’s AMETA region (Asia Pacific, Middle East, Türkiye & Africa), working across multiple countries and teams to implement initiatives that embed equity, foster connection, and support diverse talent.
Her work focuses on building psychological safety, driving behavioural change, and aligning DEI with business outcomes. Lynn’s operational background enables her to engage leaders across functions with credibility and practical insight, ensuring DEI isn’t just aspirational – it’s actionable.
Lynn’s leadership extends beyond her formal role. She serves as Chair of NAWO’s Newcastle Committee, where she plays a key role in designing and delivering local events that connect women working in operational environments. Her approach is grounded, collaborative, and focused on creating real conversations and opportunities.

In Her Own Words
“After years of projects, roles, and experiences, I’ve learned that success is a shared journey. I don’t have to hold everything together alone, have all the answers, or hesitate to ask for support. And in the end, shared success is the most rewarding kind!”
Lynn’s story illustrates the growing range of career paths available within operations, and the value of cross-functional skills – from technical delivery to people leadership. She demonstrates how operational know-how can be applied far beyond production floors – driving systemic change, strengthening culture, and building a more inclusive industry.
Congratulations, Lynn – we’re proud to recognise you as one of NAWO’s 100 Women in Operations.
