Carrie-Ann began her career as an apprentice electrician at Allied Bakeries in the UK – part of Associated British Foods (ABF), the parent company of George Weston Foods and Tip Top.
After completing her apprenticeship, Carrie-Ann worked as a maintenance engineer while continuing her studies, earning a diploma in electrical engineering and a degree in software engineering. In 2003, she relocated to Australia to contribute to the construction of Tip Top’s Chullora bakery – a move that marked a turning point in her career. She went on to build deep expertise in automation systems and capital delivery, complementing her technical capabilities with an MBA.
Now as Head of Engineering and Operational Excellence, Carrie-Ann leads national strategies to enhance asset reliability, embed operational excellence, and deliver capital transformation. She is also a passionate advocate for sustainability, driving initiatives that reduce Tip Top’s environmental impact and support a more sustainable future for the business.
