Today, we are thrilled to spotlight Melanie Werner as one of our latest features on the 100 Women in Operations Wall of Fame.
Melanie Werner is a Portfolio Manager in the Digital Team at Sydney Water, where she oversees multiple digital projects across enterprise asset management. Her work involves collaborating closely with the business to understand needs, build capability and deliver technology outcomes that support operational effectiveness.
Melanie transitioned into digital from an operations background after contributing to major projects including Sydney Water’s new website and billing/CRM system – work she found energising and rewarding. A results-driven leader, she enjoys seeing projects through to delivery and is motivated by achieving tangible outcomes that make a difference.
She is passionate about building operational workforces that reflect the diverse communities they serve and hopes to see structural barriers to inclusion continually challenged and removed.
