As we wrap up the year, the NAWO QLD Committee invites you to an afternoon designed to help you recharge, connect with others and support local social enterprises doing incredible work. We’ll be gathering in the Gambaro Room at Common Ground, South Bank—a venue that contributes to social housing initiatives.

What’s included:

  • Create Your Own Perfume: guided by Maua Boutique, you’ll craft a personalised scent to take home. Maua empowers young women from refugee and migrant backgrounds by creating employment pathways and reducing social isolation. Your participation helps sustain their important work.
  • Reflective Workshop on Connection and Dignity: guided by principles championed by Ethni, this session explores how we build genuine relationships and uphold dignity in our lives and workplaces. It’s a space for thoughtful reflection and personal growth.
  • Networking and Catering with Purpose: share great food and conversation with fellow NAWO members. Catering is provided by Hope Street Cafe, a social enterprise supporting people with lived experience of homelessness.

Why attend?

You’ll leave feeling refreshed, inspired and more connected: to yourself, your peers and your community. This is a chance to reflect on the year, expand your network and contribute to positive change.
