Identifying the spectrum of abusive behaviour that can occur in the workplace – ranging from the use of inappropriate language to sexual harassment – is essential for all employees.
Introducing MATE – Motivating Action Through Empowerment. MATE aims to raise awareness around the ways in which unacceptable behaviour is embedded in our culture. MATE’s programs challenge the attitudes, beliefs and behaviours that normalise violence against women, inequality, racism, discrimination and bullying in our society by opening up dialogue about the dynamics of all forms of violence in order to drive change.
This event will help you recognise when a problematic situation is taking place and feel empowered to effectively and safely interrupt the behaviour, as well as understand what it means to assist respectfully as a proactive bystander.
