NAWO WA’s ‘When I Grow Up!’ event is back this August – and it’s more inspiring than ever!

This free event gives young people aged 10–17 the chance to:

• Meet successful women leading in operations and the resources sector
• Hear real stories of careers shaped by curiosity, courage, and school pathways
• Connect what they’re learning now to the possibilities ahead

This isn’t just a talk – it’s a chance for young people to ask questions, explore career ideas, and imagine themselves in future roles.

Included:
🗣 Panel Talk: Hear from inspiring women on their vibrant operational careers.
🤝 Mini Expo: Meet professionals from a range of companies, including event sponsor Bunnings, BlueScope, Fortescue, WesCEF and Woodside, plus apprenticeship support with MEGT.

This event is designed to spotlight STEM career paths for girls; however, it’s relevant for boys too, and all genders are welcome to attend.

Bring your daughters, nieces, sons or nephews – and help them leave inspired, confident, and ready to dream big!
