Join us for a clear, practical and confidence‑building Self-Protection and Safety Awareness Seminar, designed to help women better understand how to stay safer in everyday life.
Led by Olga Papageorgiou, a qualified Krav Maga instructor specialising in women’s and children’s self‑defence, this seminar raises awareness of the realities of public violence and unpacks how and why confrontations unfold. Olga will guide participants through the dynamics of public violence, the stages of a confrontation, and the common patterns that shape risk in public spaces.
You will learn how to strengthen your situational awareness, recognise early cues, and apply practical strategies to enhance your personal safety. The session will also touch on self‑defence concepts and the legal considerations that apply within the Australian context.
This is an informative seminar only. There will be no physical demonstrations or activities, making it accessible and suitable for all women.
We are grateful to Argon & Co for generously hosting this session at their Sydney office. Light refreshments will be provided and you’ll have the opportunity to connect with others in the NAWO Network during the session.
