Organisational change is a constant across operational environments. Restructures, role redesign and shifting priorities affect how work is done, how decisions are made, and how careers progress.

The NAWO WA Committee, in partnership with Rio Tinto’s Gender Equal Voices Employee Resource Group, invites you to Thriving Through Change. This hybrid event explores how women and other marginalised groups can navigate change with agency, influence and clarity, rather than being positioned as passive recipients of decisions made elsewhere.

The evening will begin with a panel discussion bringing together perspectives from leadership, operations and lived experience. With reference to the International Day of Women in Mining, the discussion uses mining as a lens to explore challenges and opportunities common to women across all operational environments. Panel members will reflect on how organisational change shapes roles and opportunity, how leaders and allies can support inclusive outcomes, and how individuals can exercise agency during periods of transition and uncertainty.

Following the panel, the focus shifts to connection and visibility. Attendees will have dedicated time to network and access a complimentary professional headshots session. This is a rare opportunity to refresh or create a high quality headshot suitable for LinkedIn, internal profiles and professional use, at no cost.
