Whether you’re in the middle of organisational changes, preparing for them, or simply want to be ready if change arrives, this evening is for you.

The NAWO WA Committee, in partnership with Rio Tinto’s Gender Equal Voices Employee Resource Group, invites you to join us for Thriving Through Change. A hybrid event to explore how women (and others who are too often left out of the room) can navigate change not as bystanders to decisions made elsewhere, but as people who shape them.

The evening opens with a panel discussion drawing on perspectives from leadership, operations and lived experience. Timed to coincide with International Women in Engineering Day and the International Day of Women in Mining, the conversation uses mining as a lens to explore challenges and opportunities relevant to women across all operational environments.

Panellists will explore how:

  • Organisational change shapes roles and career opportunity
  • Leaders and allies can drive inclusive outcomes
  •  You can exercise agency during periods of uncertainty.

The panel will be livestreamed, so whether you’re joining us in person or tuning in from anywhere in Australia, you’ve got a seat at the table.

This year’s panellists are:

  • Jenna Rennick, General Manager, Integrated Scheduling & Planning, Rio Tinto
  • Julissa Shrewsbury, Managing Director, New Work Consulting
  • Anna Dartnell, Chief Operating Officer, Tellus (and CEO from 1 July)
  • Sarah Coleman, NAWO Board Member and Non-Executive Director at idoba

Facilitated by Yvette Bear, Joint Venture Manager and Gender Equal Voices Employee Resources Group Communications & Engagement Lead, Rio Tinto.

For those joining us in Perth, the panel is followed by networking and a complimentary professional headshots session. Walk away with a high-quality headshot ready for LinkedIn, internal profiles or whatever comes next, at no cost.

We’d love to see you there.
