In this session, we will look at how organisations can design clear and accessible progression pathways, remove barriers that limit development opportunities and ensure that capability building is offered consistently across teams and roles. We will discuss practical ways to strengthen mentoring cultures, build supportive networks and create development programs that genuinely prepare people for future leadership.

Participants will also explore how Dial 9 connects with the wider Nine Dials framework, influencing succession planning, recruitment, inclusive leadership and the retention of diverse talent. As with every session in this series, the focus will be on practical insights and actions that can be applied immediately to support career growth across your organisation.

About NAWO’s ‘Tuning into the Nine Dials’ sessions

NAWO’s Nine Dials for Gender Balance outline the areas we know can ‘turn the dial’ on gender balance in operations. Each month we’ll be exploring a Dial in detail, starting with a deep dive session on the first Thursday of the month. These online events will focus on what organisations can do to ‘turn up’ the dial, and how NAWO can support.
