This February we're launching our Nine Dials for Gender Balance: a practical framework that outlines the areas that we know, when ‘turned up’, can shift the dial on the attraction, retention and progression of women in operations.

Join us for the first of our monthly 'Tune into the Nine Dials' sessions, where we'll introduce the dials and the crucial foundations that underpin them, and share a practical tool that NAWO members can start to use straight away to drive gender balance.

This year, NAWO is launching a new monthly learning series: Tuning into the Nine Dials: a guided dive into the Nine Dials for Gender Balance, our refreshed framework for meaningful, sustainable progress towards gender balance in operations.

In our first session, we’ll introduce the full Nine Dials framework and focus on the foundational elements that underpin each of the areas for action. You’ll also have the chance to explore NAWO’s Nine Dials Snapshot Tool, a short reflective assessment that helps you consider how your organisation is currently tracking across the foundation elements and nine dials. It’s quick, thoughtful, and designed to spark conversation rather than deliver a score. At the end, you’ll receive your own personalised Snapshot report to help guide your next steps.

This session is ideal for anyone working to influence inclusion in their team or organisation — whether you’re just getting started or looking to deepen your understanding of what drives real change.

Begin your Nine Dials journey with clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of what truly shifts the dial on gender balance.

About NAWO’s ‘Tuning into the Nine Dials’ sessions

NAWO’s Nine Dials for Gender Balance outline the areas we know can ‘turn the dial’ on gender balance in operations. Each month we’ll be exploring a Dial in detail, starting with a deep dive session on the first Thursday. These online events will focus on what organisations can do to ‘turn up’ the dial, and how NAWO can support.
