Update 5 November: our speaker for this session was originally scheduled to be Tania Archibald, Chief Executive of Australian Steel Products at BlueScope Steel. Unfortunately Tania is now not able to join us – it was announced this morning that she will become the next CEO and MD of BlueScope, and understandably she has competing priorities this week!
However, Tania has arranged an incredible stand-in for her tomorrow. Our speaker will be Deborah Caudle, Chief Executive, Climate Change and Sustainability. Learn more about Deborah and her background below.
Tania has committed to rescheduling her session to next year – this time as CEO as BlueScope. We look forward to hearing from her in 2026, and seeing you tomorrow to hear from Deborah!
About Deborah Caudle
Deborah was appointed Chief Executive Climate Change & Sustainability in March 2025, responsible for progressing our company-wide decarbonisation pathway and our commitment to sustainable practices.
Deborah has over 25 years of international experience working in the resources sector across finance, investment banking, and engineering. Before joining BlueScope, Deborah held executive roles at OZ Minerals and Fortescue. Prior to that, she spent 14 years in corporate and investment banking, holding senior roles at Barclays and Société Générale, focusing on acquisition finance, project finance, and sustainability finance, including the first sustainability financing framework in the mining sector, globally.
