NAWO is pleased to announce a new partnership with Metluma, a specialist organisation supporting women to navigate peri‑ and menopause with evidence‑based education, care and community.
This national webinar will introduce Metluma’s work to the NAWO network and explore the practical ways organisations can better support people experiencing peri‑ and menopause symptoms — an often overlooked but highly impactful phase of life that affects wellbeing, performance, and retention.
We’ll be joined by Metluma co-founder Dr Nicole Avard, an integrative GP with more than 18 years’ experience supporting women’s health. Nicole brings deep insight into the lived experience of peri‑ and menopause, drawing on clinical practice, education, and research to help organisations understand what meaningful support looks like in practice.
We’ll also hear from Kelly Wood, Group Executive – Transmission Development and Growth at Ausgrid, who will share her experience participating in Metluma’s programs and the difference this support has made. Kelly will reflect on the role of organisational conversation, leadership awareness, and cultural permission in creating workplaces where people can do their best work.
As part of this session, we’ll also announce the launch of NAWO‑exclusive cohorts within Metluma’s 12‑week program, commencing in July. NAWO members will have access to exclusive partner discounts as part of this collaboration.
