This site tour will take you onto the factory floor to follow the journey of COLORBOND® steel coils as they’re transformed into roofing, fencing, gutters and wall cladding used across the Western Australian construction industry. You’ll see first‑hand how precision engineering, logistics and operational planning come together to meet customer demand.

The afternoon will also include time to connect with the Fielders team and other NAWO members, and hear short presentations from site speakers on:

• Fielders’ diverse product range
• The customers and industries they support across WA
• Their commitment to diversity, inclusion and positive workplace culture

You’ll also get the chance to hear from an incredible panel of women who work at the site:

• Danira Chong Nee | Operations Supervisor: Danira will take us through her personal and career journey, sharing her experience of stepping from team member into a leadership role, and the challenges and opportunities that shaped her along the way.
• Heidi Wright | Executive Assistant: Heidi will share her journey and the diversity her role brings, offering insights into diversity and inclusion and the strong, supportive culture that defines Fielders.
• Samara Vardy | Account Manager: Samara will share her personal and career journey, bringing to life where COLORBOND® and Fielders products end up and the role they play in our communities.

About the site

The Fielders facility operates across three shifts, six days a week, powered by a team of around 200 skilled staff. During the tour, you’ll gain insight into how more than 25 specialised roll‑forming machines work together to deliver high‑quality products — often within 48 hours of order.

The Fielders team are very enthusiastic about the event and look forward to taking you through their site. If you arrive late, don’t worry, additional tours will be available following the speaker sessions. Although the event concludes at 5:00 pm, the Fielders team will be happy to host attendees afterwards to help ease the journey home and avoid peak traffic.
