Organisations that overlook menopause as a legitimate cause for loss of talent are unknowingly opting out of a chance to create more proactive workplaces, stronger teams, and better margins.

Menopause symptoms negatively affect work performance and engagement for many women and they may not feel supported to share the physiological, emotional and psychological impacts it has on them and their work. As a result, a significant portion of women and others who experience menopause consider leaving their jobs, even though they might be at the peak of their careers.

This Knowledge Share Forum aims to build leadership awareness around menopause and help leaders and HR teams create frameworks and policies that will retain their best talent.

Melissa MacGowan, from the Meno Collective, will be joining us for a discussion about effective policies that support women through menopause and workplace culture and inclusion initiatives that foster menopause friendly work environments.

Attendees will learn about:

  • Articulating to leadership the importance of creating policies to support those going through menopause
  • Creating opportunities and strategies to increase menopause awareness in a way that complements a specific company culture
  • Developing and implementing menopause related policies to support talent retention, profit, and financial cost avoidance

This member only Knowledge Share Forum is relevant and open to policy developers, HR partners, and leaders who are influencing change and are responsible for policy development and implementation.
