Succession plays a central role in achieving long term gender balance in operations. This session focuses on how organisations can more deliberately identify, support and advocate for high potential women and gender diverse talent, so leadership pipelines better reflect the workforce.
NAWO CEO Louise Weine is joined by Nicci Harrison, Director of Operations Tip Top ANZ at George Weston Foods. Together, they will share practical insights drawn from operational environments, with a clear focus on what works in practice.
The conversation will explore how sponsorship shows up day to day, the influence of informal networks on progression, and how to build succession processes that are clear, fair and consistent. The session will centre on practical actions leaders can take to support emerging talent and create pathways into future leadership roles.
Participants will also consider how progress in this area strengthens broader organisational capability across recruitment, development and inclusive leadership.
