Here is the original event information, for reference:
We will be in conversation with a panel of incredible speakers, who will promote advocacy in industry for First Nations women and reflect on some of the positive changes that have been made in this space.
Our esteemed guest speakers are:
- Tania Stevens – Managing Director, Company Secretary and Owner – Eastern Guruma Pty Ltd | Muntulgura Guruma Woman
- Cindy Dunn – Indigenous Support Advisor – Rio Tinto | Muntulgura Guruma Woman
- Renee Braedon – Training & Development – Cultural Facilitator, Indiji Corp | Banjima Woman
- Rhonda Parker – Owner/Director – MullaMulla and Project Officer – Yinhawangka Aboriginal Corporation | Yinhawangka Woman
Our amazing facilitator for the evening will be Shanna Stroud – Coordinator Work Ready Program, BHP | Waanyi-Garawa/Kaurareg and Torres Strait Islander (Bam Le’ – Kul,kulgul) Woman (and NAWO Regional WA Committee member!).
Through learning about the lived experiences and narratives of First Nations intersectionality, we want to ensure women are seen, heard, valued, and supported in operations.
If you’re in the Pilbara, we’d love for you to join us in-person in Tom Price. Alternatively, join us online for what’s sure to be an incredible evening of discussion and connection. Click one of the buttons below to register for either event!
