There are many hundreds more women in operations whose work deserves visibility. This platform will continue to evolve as we publish new profiles, highlight the varied pathways into operations, and showcase the breadth of roles where women can thrive.
Do you know a woman with an interesting role or career journey?
You can nominate them to be featured. We’re looking for representation across sites, shifts, functions, industries and career stages.

Organisational Involvement
NAWO Corporate Members across Australia are helping bring this campaign to life by nominating women, sharing stories, and reinforcing that women belong in every part of operations.
Corporate Members: If your organisation would like to participate more actively, we welcome nominations across roles, functions and sites.
Why this campaign matters
Visibility: Seeing women in operational roles helps broaden perceptions of what an operations career can look like.
Pathways: The profiles highlight multiple entry points: trades, engineering, logistics, supply chain, safety, technology, customer operations and career change.
Retention and progression: Stories surface the practical supports that help women stay and progress (including leadership, flexibility, development and sponsorship).
Culture: Sharing real experiences supports better conversations about inclusion in operational environments.
Business outcomes: Diverse teams strengthen problem-solving and decision-making—critical in operational settings.
Please join our campaign by nominating women and non-binary (they/them and she/her identifying) people in your business to be profiled on our social media and website.
Your nomination not only recognises your nominee’s success publicly (which is awesome for boosting self-efficacy and confidence) , it also draws attention to your employer brand and the exciting opportunities your business offers for people of all genders. Our desired outcome is that other businesses in your sector and the broader community start to see that the landscape is changing and really shake up some of those pesky gender stereotypes!
The nomination process is quick and easy – complete the short form by clicking the button below. Your nominee will then be sent an email inviting them to participate in a way that works for them.
